On June 25, 2025 the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research (BISR) co-organized the round table “EAEU 2025+: Economic and Social Dimensions” in Minsk, Belarus. The event was held on the sidelines of the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

Oleg Makarov, BISR Director, Ivan Timofeev, RIAC Director General, and Olga Lazorkina, BISR Department Head delivered welcoming remarks. Leading experts from Russia and Belarus discussed key dimensions of Eurasian integration in the current period, economic and investment cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as priorities of Russia and Belarus regarding the implementation of the Declaration on further development of economic processes “Eurasian Economic Path”.

Aleksei Bykov, Vice-Rector for Research at Belarus State Economic University; Andrey Tochin, Director of the Institute for the Development of Integration Processes of Russian Foreign Trade Academy; Alexander Korolev, Deputy Director of the Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the HSE University; Svetlana Aleinikova, Alexey Avdonin and Ekaterina Rechits, BISR Analysts, and Polina Chupriyanova, RIAC Program Coordinator took part in the round table.

Alexander Korolev moderated the discussion.
