On October 20, 2025, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) hosted a delegation from the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) under the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The delegation included senior Pakistani civil servants currently taking part in advanced professional development programs abroad. During the meeting, the participants engaged in a substantive discussion with RIAC staff and experts on a wide range of issues related to the development of Russia–Pakistan bilateral relations and the broader international agenda.

From the Russian side, participants included Ivan Timofeev, RIAC Director General, Yulia Melnikova, Head of the RIAC “Asia and Eurasia” Program, Irina Serenko, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, Gleb Gryzlov, RIAC Program Coordinator.
