Andrey Kortunov and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Sok-Bae Discuss Aggravation of the U.S.-China Relations

On May 27, 2020, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, held an online meeting with Lee Sok-bae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Russia.

The following international problems related to the current aggravation of relations between the United States and China were discussed during the meeting with the South Korean diplomat: the implementation of the Indo-Pacific concept, various aspects of international security in the Asia-Pacific region, the development of the situation around the Korean Peninsula, and the prospects for Russia-China relations.

Andrey Kortunov also informed the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea about RIAC bilateral projects with the South Korean partners of the Council.
