On August 29, 2020, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, spoke at the remote public workshop on Russia's role in the Asia-Pacific.

The workshop was organized by the Manila International Development and Security Cooperation research center. The discussion focused on the issues of Russia-China relations, Russia’s policy in Southeast Asia, Russia's position on the Indo-Pacific Strategy, as well as the issues of bilateral Russia-Philippines relations.
