On April 6, 2016 the Russian International Affairs Council in cooperation with the German Council on Foreign Relations and the Delegation of the European Union to Russia held a workshop “EU and Russia: in search of a new modus operandi”.

On April 6, 2016 the Russian International Affairs Council in cooperation with the German Council on Foreign Relations and the Delegation of the European Union to Russia held a workshop “EU and Russia: in search of a new modus operandi”.

The discussion of Russian and European experts, former politicians and diplomats focused on foreign policy mistakes committed by Russia and the EU and the lessons learned from them, on ways of cooperation to remedy the situation in Ukraine and Syria, as well as on the global EU strategy and future relations with Russia.

RIAC was represented by its President Igor Ivanov, Director General Andrey Kortunov, and Program Manager Natalia Evtikhevich.

This is the second workshop held within the framework of cooperation between RIAC and the EU Delegation to Russia. RIAC hosted the first seminar in Moscow on February 9, 2016.
