On October 29, 2021, RIAC held the second webinar to analyze the challenges in Central Africa and the Sahel region and to discuss the prospects for Russia-Europe cooperation. CONFLITS, the French magazine, is RIAC’s partner that covers the issues of history, geopolitics, and international relations.
The webinar participants exchanged views on the problems of the development of terrorism and the search for ways of countering it. Other issues included challenges of the spread of Islamism in the Sahel region, the roles of the main actors in Mali's conflict and the UN peacekeeping mission in Mali.
