On December 14, 2021, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and Third Generation Environmentalism (E3G), held workshop on the approaches of Russia and the UK to address key issues of green finance, green bonds and the green taxonomy. The workshop was organized within the framework of the sixth round of the project “A New Agenda for Russia–UK Relations”.

On December 14, 2021, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and Third Generation Environmentalism (E3G), held workshop on the approaches of Russia and the UK to address key issues of green finance, green bonds and the green taxonomy. The workshop was organized within the framework of the sixth round of the project “A New Agenda for Russia–UK Relations”.

The goals of the meeting were to discuss the interests of Russia and the UK on on the issues of "green" financing and "green" investments in projects related to the energy transition, renewable energy sources (RES), search for convergence of positions on key issues of investment in green projects and standards and taxonomy rules.

The event was attended by leading Russian and British experts.
