On May 2012 RIA Novosti press-center hosted a roundtable on “Russian Presidency in APEC: Prospects for the Business and the State”. The event organized by the Russian International Information Agency jointly with the National APEC Business Center was attended by prominent diplomats and experts.

On May 2012 RIA Novosti press-center hosted a roundtable on “Russian Presidency in APEC: Prospects for the Business and the State”. The event organized by the Russian International Information Agency jointly with the National APEC Business Center was attended by prominent diplomats and experts – G. Ivashentsov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia, Director of the Russian APEC Study Center; M. Larionova, Director of the International Organizations Research Institute at NRU “Higher School of Economics”; M.Golovinov, Senior Project Manager of the National APEC Business Center and A. Bezborodov, Director General of the InfraNews research agency. Russian International Affairs Council was represented by Program Director I. Timofeev.

The agenda of the roundtable included the issues concerning the promotion of Russian interests in the institutions of global and regional cooperation G8, G20, BRICS and APEC and the assessment of Russia’s APEC participation preliminary results since it assumed presidency over the forum.
