On February 24, 2014 RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov met Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Russian Federation Alejandro Mosquera.
The Ambassador showed his interest in RIAC Asia-Pacific activities, primarily with respect to the elaboration of proposals on international cooperation for the development of East Siberia and the Far East. Dr. Kortunov outlined a number of areas of possible cooperation between RIAC and the Embassy. Among them – joint roundtables, meetings and discussions between the Philippine diplomats and the local expert community, as well as information exchanges, including via the RIAC website.
