On February 4, 2019 RIAC held the last, fourth seminar in the third cycle of a joint project with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). This final event was devoted the issues regarding information security of the two countries, the search for common problems and solutions. The meeting especially focused on stimulating interaction between the public and the private sectors, as well as their contacts with the experts. The large representation of the business circles from the two countries allowed for the honest dialogue, experience exchange and the elaboration of proposals on how the situation could be improved in the future.

Ernest Chernukhin, Special Coordinator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Ovchinskiy, Counselor to the Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke at the event, which also united representatives from expert and business communities including Kaspersky Lab, Group-IB, Microsoft Russia, Bi.Zone, CISCO, and others.

RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and RUSI Director of International Security Studies Raffaello Pantucci opened the event. RIAC Program Coordinator Maria Smekalova moderated the sessions.
