On August 6-11, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov visited Beijing on the invitation of China Institute of International Studies of the PRC Foreign Ministry to consult on foreign policies of the second Obama administration, prospects for nuclear weapons cuts, and US BMD plans in East Asia in view of future stability.

On August 6-11, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov visited Beijing on the invitation of China Institute of International Studies of the PRC Foreign Ministry to consult on foreign policies of the second Obama administration, prospects for nuclear weapons cuts, and US BMD plans in East Asia in view of future stability.

Focusing on the US-China-Russia relationship, the parties also covered certain aspects of implementing the Russia-China agreements and ways to enhance the dialogue efficiency, as well as agreed on expanding the bilateral contacts.
