On June 7, 2021, Aleksey Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security at RAS IMEMO, RAS Full Member, RIAC Member, and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Bart Gorman, Deputy Head of the U.S. Mission to Russia.

On June 7, 2021, Aleksey Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security at RAS IMEMO, RAS Full Member, RIAC Member, and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Bart Gorman, Deputy Head of the U.S. Mission to Russia.

The discussion focused on the issues of preparation for the upcoming Russia-the U.S. summit in Geneva, particularly on the prospects for bilateral dialogue on strategic arms control challenges outside START III framework, and the beginning of a dialogue on strategic stability. The meeting was also attended by staff members of the U.S. Embassy in Russia.
