On March 15, 2018, Igor Ivanov, President of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Li Hui and diplomats of the Embassy.
Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Ksenia Kuzmina, RIAC Program Coordinator, also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues on the international agenda, including the situation on the Korean peninsula and the prospects for the resumption of multilateral talks on North Korea’s nuclear and missile program, as well as the approaches of Russia, China and the US to the settlement of regional conflicts in Northeast Asia and the Middle East.
