International colloquium titled "France - Russia: future of strategic partnership" was held in Paris on April 18, 2013. It was organized by the French-Russian analytical center "Observo" (Observatoire franco-russe), Paris Institute of International and Strategic Relations (Institut des relations internationales et strategiques), French - Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chambre de commerce et d'industrie franco-russe) with the support of the French Business Confederation MEDEF International.

RIAC Director General Andrei Kortunov, member of RIAC and President of the Valdai Club Sergei Karaganov, RIAC member and editor in chief of the journal "Russia in Global Affairs" Fyodor Lukyanov , RIAC member and Vice Rector of MGIMO-University Artyom Malgin, RIAC member and Chairman of the Federation Council International Affairs Committee Mikhail Margelov, RIAC expert and Director of the Center for analysis of strategies е technologies Ruslan Pukhov presented their reports at the colloquium. Russian Ambassador to France Aleksandr Orlov and Consul Ambassador of the Russian embassy Leonid Kadychev also took part in the colloquium.
