On October 13, 2014, in Rome, RIAC and Italian Institute for International Political Studies held roundtable “Resumption of Russia-Europe Dialogue: from Minimization of Damage to a New Cooperation Format” focused on improving trust between Russia and European countries in the light of Ukraine crisis, overcoming the Cold War legacy, future security architecture and mechanisms for conflict prevention. The participants also considered alternatives for Russia-EU economic relationship under the sanctions, energy cooperation and opportunities for institutional cooperation between the EU and Eurasian Economic Union.

The participants also considered alternatives for Russia-EU economic relationship under the sanctions, energy cooperation and opportunities for institutional cooperation between the EU and Eurasian Economic Union.
