On August 21, 2018, in Helsinki, Finnish Institute of International Affairs held an international round table discussion on «US and Russia: Conflicting or Converging Views on the New Global Order?», timed to the recent Russia-the U.S. summit in Finland.

About two hundred analysts, government officials, diplomats, journalists, and public figures from Finland and other European countries, as well as from Russia and the United States, attended the event. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, made a report at the round table.
