On April 19, 2018, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Ambassador Armando Barucco, Director of Department of Political Planning, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy.

The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: prospects for the development of Russian-Italian relations after the parliamentary elections in Italy in March 2018 and the possibilities for expanding cooperation between analytical centers of the two countries in the area of global and regional security.
