The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: pending issues of Russia-Italy relations and relations between Russia and EU in the context of the presidential elections held in Russia.
On December 15, 2017, Florence hosted negotiations between Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Paolo Del Bianco, President of Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, focusing on a joint Russian-Italian project. Tatyana Bogdasarova, RIAC Program Coordinator, also took part in the negotiations.
ShortIn October 2014, in Rome, RIAC and Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) organized and held the first international seminar on analyzing Russia-Europe relations. Deputy ministers of foreign affairs, experts, former officials, and business representatives from both sides took part in the seminar.
ShortOn October 2, 2017, in Rome, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, made a speech at Mediterranean Dialogues Club meeting, an annual event organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in order to shape “positive agenda” for the countries of the Mediterranean region.
