On December 10, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council held the 28th regular session of its Presidium.

The Presidium was held to adopt the documents regulating RIAC activities in 2019, including the plan and the budget for RIAC in 2019, as well as to discuss and endorse financial and accounting reports.

The Presidium was held to adopt the documents regulating RIAC activities in 2019, including the plan and the budget for RIAC in 2019, as well as to discuss and endorse financial and accounting reports.

The following candidacies of vice presidents were approved:

1. Alexandr Aksenyonok — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary;

2. Evgeny Buzhinsky — Chairman of PIR Center, Lieutenant-General (retired);

3. Alexandr Dzasokhov — Deputy Chairman, Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO;

4. Gleb Ivashentsov — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation;

5. Mikhail Margelov — Vice-President for International Affairs and Public Relations at «Transneft», PJSC;

6. Vyacheslav Trubnikov — Member of the Board of Directors of the IMEMO, General of the Army, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation..

The Council has adopted new individual members.
