On April 8, 2016 the Russian International Affairs Council held a meeting with a group of students of the American University of Paris, headed by Professor Hall Gardner.

On April 8, 2016 the Russian International Affairs Council held a meeting with a group of students of the American University of Paris, headed by Professor Hall Gardner.

The discussion covered the issues of the current state of relations between Russia and the United States, Russia’s position on the Ukrainian crisis and the Syrian conflict, the role of civil society in international intercourse.

The Russian speakers at the meeting included RIAC Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov, Program Manager Natalia Evtikhevich, Coordinator of Educational Projects Ekaterina Chimiris, Website Editor-in-Chief Daria Khaspekova, Senior Lecturer of Applied International Analysis Department at MGIMO-University Igor Istomin.

RIAC representatives also briefed the students on the basic directions of the Council’s activity.
