On January 16, 2015, RIAC hosted a regular meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club Scientific Council. The event was chaired by Board President Fyodor Lukyanov, a RIAC member, and attended by RIAC members Andrey Kortunov and Artyom Malgin, Deputy Head of Russian Presidential Administration for Public Relations and Communications Oleg Tsatsurin, Board Chairman of the Valdai Club Development and Support Foundation Andrey Bystritsky, First Pro-Rector of Higher School of Economics Lev Yakobson, and Valdai Club staffers.

The participants focused on implementation of Valdai Club plans for 2105 and early 2016, preparation of information and analytics, and interaction with partner organizations.
