On October 8-9, the second session of international High Level Leadership Task Force on European-Russian Relations was held in London to discuss preparation of the joint report on prospects for a united Greater Europe by 2030. The forum was organized by the European Leadership Network, Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and Russian International Affairs Council. Session one took place in Moscow in March 2013.

The forum was organized by the European Leadership Network, Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and Russian International Affairs Council.

Session one took place in Moscow in March 2013.

The Russian side was represented by RIAC President Igor Ivanov, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, RIAC member Alexei Gromyko, Deputy Director of RAS Institute for European Studies, RIAC expert Irene Busygina, and Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Alexander Yakovenko. The attendees included former British defense secretary Des Browne, former British foreign and defense secretary Malcolm Rifkind, Poland’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Witold Sobkow, former Turkish ambassador to the EU and Great Britain Ozdem Sanberk, as well as experts and public figures from countries of the European Union.

The participants conferred about their working materials, summed up the intermediate results of the tripartite cooperation, and outlined further steps for implementation of the joint project.
