RIAC General Director Andrei Kortunov met with top officials of the U.S. Center for Strategic and International Studies. The meeting took place on 12 November in Washington, D.C., attended by CSIS President John Hamre, Director of the CSIS Russia and Eurasia Program Andrew Kuchins, and Director of the CSIS Europe Program Heather Conley.

The participants discussed prospects of cooperation between the two organizations with regard to Russian-American interaction in the Arctic and the Asia-Pacific Region.
