On July 16, 2020, an online international expert dialog on Russia-NATO relations took place, bringing together experts, former diplomats and military, public leaders from Russia, the USA, and European NATO member-states.
The organizers of the dialog on the Russian side included RAS Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies and RAS Institute of Europe. The meeting focused on mitigating the risk of mishap in the European airspace with the participation of military and civil aircraft. The discussion was moderated by Sergey Rogov, Academic Director of RAS Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies (ISKRAN), RIAC Member, and Alexei Gromyko, Director of RAS Institute of Europe, RIAC member. The event was also attended by Yevgeny Buzhinsky, RIAC Vice President, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and a large group of RIAC experts.
