In the lead-up to the visit of the French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault to Moscow and the annual meeting of the Russia-France intergovernmental commission, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and French-Russian analytical center Observo are releasing a joint paper “Russia-France: 20 Proposals for Long-Term Partnership”.
In the lead-up to the visit of the French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault to Moscow and the annual meeting of the Russia-France intergovernmental commission, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and French-Russian analytical center Observo are releasing a joint paper “Russia-France: 20 Proposals for Long-Term Partnership”.
The project aims to produce a document of use for foreign ministries of Russia and France that will be brought to attention of governments, relevant ministries, as well as business and expert communities of the two countries.
The “20 Proposals” lay the basis for the Russian-French cooperation roadmap elaborated by RIAC and Observo experts, and include a list of specific projects relating to politics, economy, military and strategic interaction as well as humanitarian cooperation.
The participating experts focus on the previously overlooked issues, and suggest a series of initiatives new to the bilateral agenda.
The event will be attended by the authors of the joint paper:
- RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov;
- Director of the French-Russian analytical center Observo Arnaud Dubien.
The press conference will be held at 11.00 on October 28, 2013 in the Small Conference Hall of the RIA Novosti International Multimedia Press Center.
