On March 4-5, 2016 the Aspen Institute, Italia in collaboration with the Royal Institute of International Affairs – Chatham House held in London an International Conference “Assessing Risk: Business in Global Disorder.”
On March 4-5, 2016 the Aspen Institute, Italia in collaboration with the Royal Institute of International Affairs – Chatham House held in London an International Conference “Assessing Risk: Business in Global Disorder.”
The conference was attended by heads of large European corporations, financial institutions, consulting companies, as well as by leading international experts, diplomats, journalists and government officials from several European countries.
The discussion focused on political and economic risks in the various regions of the world, including the European Union, the Middle East, East Asia and Latin America. The participants also evaluated the risks associated with the development of modern information and communication technologies, the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution, cyber security challenges, shifts in global energy sector and global climate change. RIAC Director General Andrei Kortunov and RIAC expert Dmitry Suslov, Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS) at Higher School of Economics, took part in the Conference.
