On June 18, 2025, the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Russian-Iranian Cooperation in a Changing World” was held. The event was organized by the Institute of CIS Countries and the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
Welcome remarks were delivered by Konstantin Zatulin, Director of the Institute of CIS Countries and First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, and Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia.
Participants discussed a wide range of issues concerning Russian-Iranian cooperation in Eurasia and the Middle East. Particular attention was paid to bilateral relations in the context of growing regional tensions.

The meeting was also attended by Program Manager at the RIAC Ivan Bocharov.
