On April 7-8, 2014 RIAC President Igor Ivanov and RAS Academician Alexei Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of U.S. nonprofit organization Nuclear Threat Initiative.

On April 7-8, 2014 RIAC President Igor Ivanov and RAS Academician Alexei Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of U.S. nonprofit organization Nuclear Threat Initiative.  

At the session, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov spoke on future European security and transatlantic relations.

On April 8, 2014 Dr. Kortunov together with RIAC Program Manager Natalia Evtikhevich met representatives of the NTI and Chinese Institute of Contemporary International Relations to discuss the implementation of their joint project on Asia-Pacific and Northeast Asia security.
