On February 29, 2012 the Russian International Affairs Council, the Center for Support and Promotion of Public Initiatives “Creative Diplomacy” and the Russian Youth Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Association held annual S.V.Kortunov Debates of young experts on global and regional security issues.

Among the items put on the agenda of the Debates were the most burning issues of international relations: common Euro-Atlantic values shared by Russia and NATO, admissibility of humanitarian interventions in the “Arab Spring” developments context and the prospects for integration in the post-Soviet space.

The Debates held in three thematic panels continued some hours and evoked heated discussions.
