On February 19, RIAC representatives visited Ankara to participate in conference "Turkish-Russian Relations in the Post-Cold War Period: Contemporary Dynamics and Prospects” held by International Strategic Research Organization. The conference came to a decision to continue the bilateral expert dialog and prepare recommendations on extension of the Russian-Turkish relations for political leaders of the two countries.

RIAC delegation included Director General Andrey Kortunov, RIAC members Pyotr Stegny and Fyodor Lukyanov, as well as RIAC experts on Turkey, Middle East and Islamic world.
The Turkish side included government officials, leading university scholars, NGO representatives and independent experts. Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru addressed the forum.
