On May 18–19, 2025, the “Tehran Dialogue Forum — 2025” was held in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI). The event was organized by the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS). The forum focused on current political and economic developments in the Middle East and their global implications. Particular attention was paid to the formation of a regional security architecture and the promotion of economic integration. The forum brought together government officials and leading experts from the Middle East and other parts of the world.

The President of the IRI, Masoud Pezeshkian, delivered opening remarks. Among the participants were: Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IRI; Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan; Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan; Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IRI and President of IPIS; Khalil Shirgholami, Director General of IPIS, and others.

The Russian delegation included: Andrey Rudenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, RIAC Member; Anton Khlopkov, Director of the Center for Energy and Security Studies, RIAC Member; Aleksey Kuznetsov, Director of the INION RAS; Konstantin Zatulin, Member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Vladimir Evseev, Head of the Department for Eurasian Integration and SCO Development at the CIS Institute; Adlan Margoev, Research Fellow at the Institute for International Studies, MGIMO University; Anastasia Obukhova, Junior Researcher at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Institute of Oriental Studies of the RAS.

RIAC was represented at the forum by Program Manager Ivan Bocharov.
