On September 2, 2019, in Moscow, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation hosted a meeting for Russian experts and Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.


On September 2, 2019, in Moscow, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation hosted a meeting for Russian experts and Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

In the course of the meeting, Russian analysts discussed the major topics of the bilateral agenda, security and economic issues, the status of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA), the policy of the United States and other global and regional actors in the Middle East.

Iranian Foreign Minister noted the need for joint actions to ensure security in the Gulf.

The event was attended by representatives of leading research centers: RAS Institute of Oriental Studies, MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Higher School of Economics, European University at St. Petersburg, etc.
