On November 16–18 the British Ditchley Foundation in cooperation with Carnegie Endowment for International Peace held an international conference on «Russia’s Role in the World Today and Tomorrow».
The conference brought together about forty experts, former and acting diplomats, businessmen, and journalists from European countries, from Asia, the U.S., and Russia.
Russian side was represented by RIAC members: Aleksandr Dynkin, President of IMEMO, RAS Full Member; Andrey Kolosovsky, Director of Legal, Corporate, and Outreach Affairs at Microsoft Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation; Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General; Ruslan Pukhov, Director of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies; Dmitry Trenin, Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center; and Igor Yurgens, President of the All-Russian Insurance Association, Member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, made a report at the plenary session of the conference about the current state and the short-term prospects for relations between Russia and the West.
