On November 26–27, 2018, Moscow hosted International Forum of NGOs in Official Partnership with UNESCO «Science as common good of humankind», with participation of Russian Peace Foundation and Russian Academy of Sciences.
The forum gathered about four hundred Russian and foreign participants and covered a wide range of contemporary issues of social development and security. Plenary and thematic sessions discussed the interaction of science and politics, new dimensions of global and regional security issues, ensuring peace and stability in the twenty-first century.

Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Chairman of RIAC Board of Trustees, made a speech at the opening ceremony of the Forum.
