On July 3, RIAC President Igor Ivanov met President of Russian Managers Association Dmitry Zelenin to discuss cooperation of the two organizations.

Speaking of RIAC as a unique foreign-affairs think tank recognized in the world, Dr. Ivanov said: "Ideas are never born spontaneously but need accumulation. Structures like RIAC are widely spread in the West, so Russia also needed one. And we are really interested in the practical expertise available with the RMA."

Dmitry Zelenin invited RIAC members to participate in the annual rating "Russian Managers Top-1000" and discussed co-establishment of nomination "Our People Abroad" within the ARISTOS Award. Recognition of entrepreneurs representing Russia abroad is becoming a number one issue in view of globalization of the Russian business, while a separate nomination within the country's most independent rating would be a distinctive event for Russia's managerial community.
