In late September 2014, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and Chairman of the Council for Arab and International Relations Mohammad al-Sager signed an agreement on cooperation between the two organizations to promote development of the Middle East countries and their mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia through joint projects including conferences, roundtables and other public events.
