On May 24, 2022, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a round table titled “Regional Dimensions of Russia — India Partnership under the New Circumstances”. RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov delivered welcoming remarks.

Experts discussed general trends of Russia – India collaboration as well as the factor of China in the bilateral partnership and relations in the strategic triangle. Special attention was paid to common interests of Moscow and Delhi in Central Asia, South East Asia, West Asia and the Indian Ocean region.

Dipanjan Roy Chaudhury, Diplomatic Editor at the Economic Times, Sergey Uyanaev, Deputy Director, Head of “Russia, China, World” Center at RAS Institute of Far Eastern Studies, Lidya Kulik, Head of India Studies at SKOLKOVO Institute for Emerging Markets, Alexey Kupriyanov, Head of Group on South Asia and Indian Ocean at IMEMO RAS, Gleb Makarevich, Junior Research Fellow of IMEMO RAS, and Anastasia Pyatachkova, Deputy Head of Asia Pacific Department at the Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics, took part in the discussion. Ksenia Kuzmina, RIAC Deputy Director of Programs, moderated the round table.
