The past 22th of February the presentation of the book "Evolution of Post-Soviet Space: Past, Present and Future" took place at RIAC’s office at the “Alexander House” with the participation of the authors Sergey Markedonov, Aza Mighranyan and Elena Kuzmina. The event was moderated by RIAC Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov. The English edition prepared by RIAC is composed of 53 articles written by a pool of Russian authors and experts from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and other States of the former USSR, through which the main trends in the development of the post-Soviet space under a political and geographical dimension are analysed.

The event was moderated by RIAC Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov.

The English edition prepared by RIAC is composed of 53 articles written by a pool of Russian authors and experts from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and other States of the former USSR, through which the main trends in the development of the post-Soviet space under a political and geographical dimension are analysed.

The event included the participation of several media outlets such as Qazaqstan and Sputnik, as well as to representative of different diplomatic missions in Moscow, RIAC experts and the general public.

The authors gave a brief presentation to each of their articles and answered several questions from the press, making reference to contemporary paradigms raging from Security to trade and political cooperation in contrasting regions such as Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.   

The presentation was held in English and Russian format in a two hour period with the distribution of free copies of the book.
