On September 22, 2015, Russian International Affairs Council received a delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) including its Secretary General Li Haoyu, Secretary General of Chinese Section of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development Li Li, CPAFFC Board Member Wang Jianrui, and CPAFFC officer Ni Guoyuan. RIAC was represented by Andrey Kortunov and Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov.

On September 22, 2015, Russian International Affairs Council received a delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) including its Secretary General Li Haoyu, Secretary General of Chinese Section of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development Li Li, CPAFFC Board Member Wang Jianrui, and CPAFFC officer Ni Guoyuan. RIAC was represented by Andrey Kortunov and Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov.

Dr. Kortunov briefed the attendees on RIAC's plans within project "Development of Russian-Chinese Relations," joint work with the Fudan University Institute of International Studies, and bilateral report "Russian-Chinese Dialogue: Model 2015," stressing the importance of contacts between young experts of the two countries for preparing agreed proposals and support of an integrated approach to analysis of the bilateral relationship.

The discussants concurred with each other in the view that relations between Russia and China are advancing speedily along the political track, while the economic side seems grossly underused. In order to expand bilateral cooperation, the sides found proper to strengthen interaction on the youths and scientific exchanges, as well as training of Russia and China experts. Special attention should be given to development of ties between Russian and Chinese media.

Summing up the meeting, the meeting participants expressed readiness to advance cooperation.
