On April 3, 2013 an influential American magazine “National Journal” held a panel discussion on the topical issues of establishing a new security system in the Euro Atlantic region. The leading American statesmen, members of the military, journalists and experts participated in it. Igor Ivanov, President of the RIAC, took part in the debate and gave his evaluation of the current state and perspectives of the US-Russian relations in the sphere of security, the outcomes of the “reset” policy as well as the possible domains of cooperation between Russia and the West aimed at reinforcing global and regional stability.
