Speaking at Wilson Center, Washington DC, on June 16, 2014, distinguished American political scientist Zbigniew Brzezinski referred to “a report of the Russian International Affairs Council” on problems of Russia’s national identity, after which RIAC was flooded with requests, as website visitors failed to find the paper.
To this end, RIAC press service informs that Mr. Brzezinski must have meant “National Identity and Russia’s Future”, a paper by Valdai International Discussion Club placed by our website Library section used for publications on classical and current materials on foreign policy issues.
RIAC closely cooperates with the paper authors, with project supervisor Sergey Karaganov a RIAC member and Alexander Gabuyev, a winner of the first journalism contest. However, RIAC has never sponsored the research.
