The discussion with British diplomats focused on the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Russia and the UK, current problems of European security in the context of the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty, issues of reducing political and military-strategic risks in Europe and other regions of the world. The staff of the British Embassy had a briefing on the work of the Council on the UK vector of research, in particular, on the substantive priorities and expected results of the fourth stage of the bilateral RIAC-RUSI project, starting in September 2019.
