On February 2, 2018, the residence of the British Ambassador to Russia hosted a meeting for Karen Pierce, the British Foreign Office Political Director, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, Anton Khlopkov, RIAC Member, Center for Energy and Security Studies Director, Editor-in-Chief of Nuclear Club journal, Victor Mizin and Sergey Oznobyshev, RIAC experts.

On February 2, 2018, the residence of the British Ambassador to Russia hosted a meeting for Karen Pierce, the British Foreign Office Political Director, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, Anton Khlopkov, RIAC Member, Center for Energy and Security Studies Director, Editor-in-Chief of Nuclear Club journal, Victor Mizin and Sergey Oznobyshev, RIAC experts.

The staff of the British Embassy to Russia also took part in the meeting. Laurie Bristow, British Ambassador, moderated the meeting. The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: international control over chemical weapon, nuclear non-proliferation regime, mechanisms of interaction between permanent members of the UN Security Council, current agenda of the Russia-Great Britain bilateral relations, and European security.
