On February 10, 2021, International Crisis Group (ICG) held an expert discussion on the current situation in Nigeria, including the threats of international terrorism, ethnic and confessional conflicts, and the challenges of the socio-economic modernization of the country.

The discussion focused on the threats related to social tensions, separatist movements and authoritarian tendencies, tribalism in political development, as well as the implications of the coronavirus pandemic for the future of Nigeria. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, took part in the discussion.
