On May 12, 2015, RIAC President Igor Ivanov received in Moscow a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French Senate representing main national political parties. The participants focused on the East Ukraine settlement, ways to handle the crisis in Russia-West relations, new security architecture for Europe, and the Middle East including the possibilities for boosting the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and international cooperation in countering terrorism and political extremism.

The discussion was attended by officials of French Embassy to Moscow and RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov.
