On February 15, 2021, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) hosted a closed discussion on crisis in Belarus as a challenge for Russia-Belarus relations.
The event was opened by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General. On the Russian side the speakers included: Vyacheslav Sutyrin, Vice-Rector for International Ties, State Academic University for the Humanities (GAUGN); Kirill Koktysh, Assistant Professor at Political Theory Department, MGIMO; and Sergey Rekeda, Director General of Center for Study of Integration Prospects, Editor-in-Chief, RuBaltic.Ru. Belarus was represented by Viktor Shadursky, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University; and Artyom Shraibman, Nonresident Scholar at the Carnegie Moscow Center. The meeting was moderated by Ryhor Astapenia, Academy Associate, Chatham House, Research Director at the Centre for New Ideas (Minsk).
