On March 4, 2023, Rotary Association of Italy and the Council of former Italian Ambassadors held an expert roundtable on European security in the new geopolitical environment.

As usual, the event was attended by senior diplomats, the military, and representatives of Italian think tanks. The discussion focused on the possible future roles of the U.S. and China in the new security architecture in Europe, the prospects for the "strategic autonomy" of the European Union, and likely models of relations between Russia and the West.
