CREON Group has joined the corporate members of Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). The Council was established in 2011 and is an independent non-profit partnership. RIAC founders include Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Interfax International Information Group. The Council now has 158 individual members including diplomats, military, businessmen, scientists, and journalists, as well as 25 corporate members, including the largest universities and corporations of the Russian Federation.

Igor Ivanov, RIAC President, Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs (1998-2004), expressed his confidence that “participation of CREON Group, one of the recognized leaders of the Russian investment business, in RIAC activities will undoubtedly contribute to improving the interaction between government, business, and the expert community in order to strengthen Russia's position in the modern world ".

Fares Kilzie, Creon Capital Chairman of the Board, believes that “organizing a dialog between various foreign policy circles — diplomats, experts, business, and civil society — and finding ways to solve international and global issues in order to integrate Russia into the European partnership is a noble deed. I think that by joint efforts with RIAC, we will be able to promote improvement of the investment climate in Russia.” He encourages the representatives of the oil and gas industry to join this initiative.

CREON leadership will take part in meetings and events organized by RIAC and will continue to support such important forums as “Russia and China: Taking on a New Quality of Bilateral Relations” and “Russia and Turkey: Strengthening Multidimensional Partnership”.
