On December 23, 2020, the American University Washington College of Law hosted a webinar timed to the 10th Anniversary of the Syrian Civil War.

The participants discussed the history of one of the longest and most violent civil conflicts of the 21st century, the role of external players at different stages of the Syrian crisis, possible options for achieving national reconciliation and restoring the country's territorial integrity, and the necessary conditions for starting the post-conflict reconstruction process. Russia was represented by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, who spoke at the webinar.
