On March 27, North Caucasus Federal University hosted distinguished political and public figure Alexander Dzasokhov, RAS Academician, PhD in Political Science. The meeting was attended by deputies of Stavropol Regional Duma, heads of federal and local government bodies, pro-rectors and directors of regional institutes within the University, as well as the faculty and university students.

Academician Dzasokhov narrated about the discussions and outcomes of conference “Russia – European Union: Opportunities for Partnership” held in Moscow on March 21, with the focus on possible cooperation areas between the EU and Eurasian unions.
The speaker devoted much time to describing the corporate membership status at RIAC and its cooperation with Russian universities in view of possible award of the status to the North Caucasus Federal University.
